Here is a ride suggested by one of our members... and a ride i have signed up for!

The trip is to be held over a week at the beginning of July traversing mainly dirt roads (nothing too gnarly) with the suggested route Wentworth then on to Menindee and then Bourke then home.

The idea is that there is some flexibility with the route and accommodation options. There will be some camping, hotels, pubs or whatever is found along the way. We can make it up as we progress on the route and take advantage of opportunities as they arise.

If you have ridden this route before and know any must sees or suggested routes please let us know.

Be prepared for an authentic adventure riding experience, including some camping! Although we can never guarantee no sand, don’t be put off by the thought of it, it will be minimal.

The K series is an important milestone in BMW Motorrad’s history.

The K series changed the direction of BMW Motorrad and created a broader product range through cutting edge technology, powerful engines and modern styling.

At the time, product development away from boxer engines was a controversial move for BMW Motorrad.

The liquid cooled, inline engines (with three or four cylinders) were mounted longways and were visually integral to the K series’ success.
