UPDATED 22 October 2020

The Club has closed bookings for this event and training opportunity and those already registered transferred to a direct booking with the Academy of Off Road Riding.  Club Members can still access the rider training cash subsidy with details here Member Rider & First Aid Training. The BMWMCCACT offers incentives to financial members that complete advanced rider training subject to T&Cs, see Member Rider & First Aid Training.

Whilst a club member can arrange their own training, the Committee has received a request to coordinate a Club session at the Academy of Off Road Riding located at Buckenbowra up-river from Nelligen on the south coast NSW.  One is being planned for 21-22 November 2020.

The Adventure Bike Course is specifically targeted at adventure bikes like BMW F800GS/A, R1200GS/A with touring luggage (but not required for the course).  Although any member and any brand motorcycle are invited to register.  Check the Academy website for more information https://www.academyofoffroadriding.com.au/.

The base course cost is $420 per person on a BYO camping and food basis, plus an insurance levy.  If there are sufficient registrations the Club may provide catering at an additional $100 pp cost.  Refunds may not be possible or restricted once a person has confirmed and paid for this course.

Registrants would make their own/group way to the Buckenbowra training site Friday night or in time for the Saturday and Sunday morning 0800 briefing (miss the briefing, miss the course).
