The Year We Ride As A Club Alone

With COVID-19 restrictions there is no mass or group ride planned for the Canberra, ACT 2020 DGR.  However the Club has planned a COVID-19 compliant group ride for our CRS members, those who only want a short ride and quadrapod supporters of the DGR community organisations.

The Club has a fund raising page here https://www.gentlemansride.com/join/BMWMotorcycleClubACT where you can register as an individual rider, donate to the Club fund raiser or to another registered Club Member (donations >$2 are tax deductible).

To encourage members whose riding is confined to or limited by the ACT border, we will stay in the ACT and as an added incentive have a BBQ lunch for $5 per person (the President is looking for a volunteer car and driver).  The actual global DGR is 27 Sep but the President is away that weekend.

COVID-19 Ride Rules:

1. You and your pillion need to register for this event.  This includes if you are traveling by car to the BBQ.
   
2. If our BBQ site is crowded then we will go somewhere else.
3. Maintain physical distancing of 1.5 metres.
4. Maintain personal hygiene, including regular hand washing.  The Club will have hand santiser to hand.
   
5. Stay home if you have COVID-19, think you have COVID-19, or feel unwell or be prepared to wear your helmet at all times.  You can still donate $ to DGR.
6. Get tested if you have COVID-19 symptoms.

Meet 1030 fueled for a 1100 departure at?  The ride start point and BBQ location will be emailed to ride or event registrants the Thursday beforehand.  BBQ $5pp cash payment on the day.
